Regis, Age 32
Incident: Regis was playing flag football when he collided with another player and received a laceration above his left eyebrow.

“My experience was excellent. I was injured playing flag football with friends on a Sunday morning on Long Island. I knew I had to get to a hospital to have the injury closed, preferably by a plastic surgeon. I was dreading going to an ER – as we all fear the long waits, etc. Not quite how you want to start your Sunday! One of my friends is an employee of Long Island Plastic Surgical Group. She suggested I call for this service as I headed to the hospital. My drive to the hospital was only about 5 minutes, and within half hour I was on a surgical table having my cut closed by a plastic surgeon from the LI Plastic Surgical Group. I was in and out of the hospital in under 2 hours total.”
